ARTIST STATEMENT

Why do you use the medium that you use?

I enjoy the challenge of bringing something to life with the use of a pencil, other mediums don’t provide that for me as much as a mere pencil does.

What role does art play in your life?

I mostly enjoy the look on the faces of those I draw, for once they see the completed project, knowing I brought happiness into another’s life, a memory, etc.

What inspires you to create your art?

To create something of value inside these walls that can bring happiness to those who see it.

This piece actually began with nothing more than the right eye in mind and ended in becoming what is here now.
